Clarifying use of the camera

I don't really use the camera for "photography".
To clarify, here is a list of  conceptual frameworks I use it that makes it into "artogrpahy" or "lightography".

- Drawing with light.  A photographer shared this idea with me.  I would say that I primarily use this approach.  I see and use the images in the same way I see drawings.

- The lines in the objects are treated as if I drew them.  Photographers frame the shot and are often going for something specific having to do with the image in the lens.  I see all of the components of the drawing(photo) as manipulable.  I have no interest in the object as a photo.  I am interested in all of the aspects of the drawing I see.  I can turn it, color it, delete parts of it, etc.   I may look nothing like what came through the lens.

- Manipulate results to fit a drawing that is evolving. Photographers manipulate camera settings to affect the result.  Generally, they appreciate photographs for deft manipulation of the mechanism.  I don't "use" it as such.
